We are a small breeder of show quality AMHA/AMHR miniature horses located in north central Kansas. Bill and I moved to Glasco, Kansas in the summer of 2009 from southwest Colorado to have a little more room for the horse business, to be closer to the shows and to be closer to Bill's family. I have been involved in the horse industry for over forty years now, in my younger days riding, training and teaching English riding. I've been involved in the miniature horse industry since the early nineties, showing and breeding these exceptional little horses! My first mini was a mare I purchased for my lovely daughter April when she was a child. April still lives in Colorado and is a gifted horsewoman who has shown at National level with Tennessee Walking Horses.
My husband Bill, is a newbie to the horses, but has a wonderful way with them and I think loves them as much as I do! He is the glue that makes it all work. Bill has been showing a little over the past several show seasons and has done quite well! He ended the 2015 show season winning another Supreme Halter title with our little stallion Ravenwood Do You Remember(Mater)!
My 2015 year was awesome too! I tried something a little different and decided to try showing at some AMHR shows. Bill and I had a lot of fun! I was over the moon, winning the Grand Championship in Western Country Pleasure Driving with my Butterfly and a Reserve Championship with Mojo in Amateur Single Pleasure Driving at the Area VI National Area show!!
We also finished the year making the AMHR Top Ten All Stars!!! with a 3rd in Amateur Obstacle Driving with Butterfly and 3rd in Amateur Single Pleasure Driving with Mojo!! I was SO surprised!!!
Butterfly and I also showed an AMHA show and won both the Grand Championships in driving at the Kansas State Fair!! A very good year for us with limited showing!
If you are ever up in North Central Kansas and want to talk Mini's, drop on by and say Hi! We may even have your next Champion!
